COMPREHENSIVE TRAVEL MEDICAL INSURANCE FOR VISITORS TO USA

Coverage for non-U.S. residents and non-U.S. citizens, while traveling to the United States and incidental trips to Canada, Mexico, Latin America, Bahamas and South America.

CoverAmerica-Gold (A.M. Best Rating: A) is a comprehensive travel medical insurance plan for international visitors traveling to the United States. It offers broad medical coverage for eligible new illnesses and injuries, access to the UnitedHealthcare PPO network, helping protect travelers during their trip. Coverage is available from 5 days to 365 days.

While in the U.S., after the deductible is satisfied within the United Healthcare PPO network, the plan will pay 100% of eligible medical expenses up to the selected policy maximum. Outside of the PPO network, the plan will pay 80% up to the first $5,000, then 100% thereafter in eligible medical expenses, up to the selected policy maximum.

CoverAmerica-Gold has a unique feature called US Border Entry Protection Benefit. This benefit is designed for foreign travelers entering the United States, helping mitigate the financial risk associated with being denied entry at a U.S. port of entry.

CoverAmerica-Gold does not cover pre-existing conditions. CoverAmerica-Gold includes acute onset coverage of pre-existing conditions up to the policy maximum through age 69 (cardiac/stroke up to $36,000) and up to $30,000 for ages 70–79.
