Best Rating: A) is a limited coverage fixed-benefit visitor insurance plan for international travelers seeking affordable medical coverage while visiting the United States. Scheduled benefits provide predictable reimbursement for eligible medical services, helping travelers manage healthcare costs without paying for comprehensive coverage. It's a great option for vacations, visiting family, and other temporary stays in the U.S. Coverage is available from 5 days to 364 days.
While in the U.S., after the deductible is satisfied, the insurance company will pay up to the stated amount in the policy document for each covered treatment or service. Travel Medical USA Visitor Choice does not participate in any PPO network. You can visit any doctor or hospital of your choice.
Travel Medical USA Visitor Choice does not cover pre-existing conditions. Travel Medical USA Visitor Choice includes acute onset coverage of pre-existing conditions after a 7-day waiting period: up to $75,000 for ages 14 days–69, $25,000 for ages 70–79, and not available for ages 80+.
