Student Secure - Elite (A.M. Best Rating: A) is a Travel Medical insurance plan that provides medical coverage for international students. Student Secure Elite offers the highest level of coverage within the Student Secure product line, with enhanced benefits and higher coverage limits for students seeking broader protection throughout their studies. Coverage is available from 30 days to 365 days.

While in the U.S., after the deductible is satisfied within the United Healthcare PPO network, the plan will pay 80% of eligible medical expenses up to $10,000, then 100% thereafter, up to the policy maximum. Outside of the PPO network, the plan will pay 100% of the URC in eligible medical expenses, up to the policy maximum.

Student Secure - Elite does not cover pre-existing conditions. Student Secure - Elite includes acute onset coverage of pre-existing conditions up to $25,000 lifetime maximum for eligible medical expenses.

  • Not Available for the following Destination Countries: Belarus (BLR), Congo, The Democratic Republic of (COD), Cuba (CUB), Iran (IRN), Israel (ISR), Lebanon (LBN), North Korea (PRK), Palestinian Terr. (PSE), Russia (RUS), South Sudan (SSD), Uganda (UGA) & Ukraine (UKR).
  • Not available if Home Country/Country of Residences are: Cuba (CUB), Iran (IRN), North Korea (PRK), Puerto Rico (PRI), Ukraine (UKR) & Virgin Islands (USA) (VIR).
  • Not available for Citizens of: Cuba (CUB) & Ukraine (UKR).
  • Not available for purchase if the traveler(s) is physically present in {us_states_restrictions_phys}. The policy will still cover the traveler(s) visiting and temporarily staying in these U.S. states.
