COVID-19 Excluded Medical Coverage During Travel Cancelable & Renewable

Travel Medical Insurance Plan for non US Residents and US citizens who permanently live outside the USA, for traveling to the USA, and anywhere outside their country of Residence.

Patriot Lite (A.M. Best Rating: A-) is a comprehensive travel medical insurance plan that offers affordable medical coverage for international visitors traveling to the United States. It provides coverage for eligible new illnesses and injuries, access to the UnitedHealthcare PPO network, and emergency travel assistance throughout your stay. Coverage is available from 5 days to 365 days.

While in the U.S., after the deductible is satisfied within the United Healthcare PPO network, the plan will pay 100% of eligible medical expenses up to the selected policy maximum. Outside of the PPO network, the plan will pay 80% of the first $5,000 of eligible medical expenses then 100% thereafter, up to the selected policy maximum.

Patriot Lite does not cover pre-existing conditions.

  • Temporary coverage for green card holders visiting the USA for a short trip
  • Eligible for Student Visa holders who do not have specific health insurance requirements to meet.
  • Plan can be purchased after arrival at the destination
  • Not available if Home Country/Country of Residences are: Botswana (BWA), Cuba (CUB), Gambia (GMB), Ghana (GHA), Iran (IRN), Kosovo (XKX), Niger (NER), Nigeria (NGA), North Korea (PRK), Puerto Rico (PRI), Sierra Leone (SLE), Syria (SYR), United States (USA), Venezuela (VEN) & Virgin Islands (USA) (VIR).
